Springpoint Names Michael Oakes as Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Springpoint Foundation
Springpoint is pleased to announce the promotion of Michael Oakes to Chief Philanthropy Officer of the Springpoint Foundation.
Since joining Springpoint in 2014, Michael has displayed exceptional leadership and ambition in support of the Springpoint Foundation’s mission to “inspire generosity in support of programs that make a difference in people’s lives and enrich the communities where they live.” As the Foundation’s Senior Vice President, Michael increased fundraising efforts to advance the development and implementation of several innovative programs that benefit Springpoint residents, communities, and team members. He recently helped launch two programs illustrating the Springpoint Foundation’s commitment to excellence – the LivWell initiative developed within the Affordable Housing Division and the Springpoint Strong Fund, which assists team members in times of need.
In this new role, Michael will continue being instrumental in the growth of the Foundation’s endowment and the expanded reach of the Foundation’s mission.
Michael previously served as the Executive Director of the Ocean Medical Center Foundation (part of the Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations) and Chief Operating Officer/Vice President of Development at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey. He received his MBA from Seton Hall University’s W. Paul Stillman School of Business.
