Celebrating donors. Enriching our community.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Coster family, made in memory of their beloved wife and mother, Gina, the Springpoint Foundation hosted an inspiring Health and Wellness Fair at Plainfield Tower West, a Springpoint affordable housing community. The day featured activities designed to promote health and well-being among residents:
- Distribution of fresh produce to all residents
- Healthy cooking demonstration by Morrison Living
- Exercise classes to promote activity
- Health screenings by Hackensack Meridian Health
Residents, employees, and friends attended the dedication of the new emergency food pantry at Watchung Terrace, a Springpoint affordable housing community serving low-income seniors. The food pantry, made possible by a generous grant from the DiLeo Family Foundation to the Springpoint Foundation, will be a vital resource for the 86-unit community’s residents, ensuring they have consistent access to nutritious food.
Thanks to a health and wellness grant from the Citizens Bank Foundation, the Springpoint Foundation distributed fresh Farmers Market produce to the residents of Butler Senior Community. Residents also had the opportunity to enjoy cooking demonstrations and healthy food tastings.
The grant allows the Springpoint Foundation to provide Butler Senior Community residents with essential pantry items, health care necessities, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Residents also have access to health, wellness, and nutritional education materials and programs.
