U.S. News & World Report Recognizes 5 Springpoint Communities as Best Nursing Homes for Short-Term Rehabilitation for 2023-2024
Five Springpoint communities have been recognized as Best Nursing Homes for short-term rehabilitation for 2023-2024 by U.S. News & World Report. This report evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes on resident care and safety, infection rates, staffing, health inspection results, and other indicators of quality, with only 19% of skilled nursing facilities nationwide earned the “Best Nursing Home” designation.
Among the elite to receive such high recognition are Springpoint Life Plan Communities The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, offering independent living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation; The Moorings at Lewes, offering independent living, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care; The Oaks at Denville, offering independent living, skilled nursing, assisted living, and rehabilitation; Winchester Gardens, offering independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care; as well as Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a Springpoint senior care community offering rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care.
There are currently 348 nursing homes throughout the state of New Jersey, and these Springpoint communities are among a distinguished group to receive such a high overall rating. They each received a High-Performance rating in short-term rehabilitation, which is based on U.S. News’ assessment of ten quality measures focused on staffing, medical outcomes, resident complaints, and processes of care. U.S. News used scientific literature review, discussions with industry experts, and statistical modeling to select these measures.
