Springpoint has been recognized with the 2026 Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award, marking the second consecutive year it has received this national honor. The award recognizes Springpoint’s ongoing commitment to fostering a workplace culture that prioritizes the mental, physical, social, and financial well-being of its team members.
The Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award celebrates organizations that demonstrate a meaningful commitment to employee health through comprehensive wellness strategies, accessible resources, and ongoing engagement. Organizations are evaluated across five key areas: well-being strategy and design, communications and organizational engagement, programs and policies, incentives and engagement, and program evaluation. A combination of an automated assessment and expert review determines award recipients.
A Commitment to Team Member Well-Being
At Springpoint, supporting team members goes beyond providing traditional benefits. The organization continues to invest in wellness initiatives that empower team members to prioritize their health, achieve greater balance, and thrive both personally and professionally. From preventive care and wellness education to mental health resources and opportunities for connection, Springpoint’s comprehensive approach is designed to meet the diverse needs of its workforce.
“Springpoint prioritizes empathy, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to employee wellbeing,” said Springpoint President and CEO Anthony A. Argondizza. “Our proactive workforce strategies are building a culture where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to prioritize their health, which ultimately strengthens the care and service they provide to residents and families every day.”
Springpoint also responds directly to team member feedback and needs through initiatives such as its Health & Wellness Employee Resource Group (ERG). Launched as Springpoint’s first ERG, the group brought team members together to explore topics including nutrition, physical activity, mental health, stress management, sleep, energy, and overall well-being. The successful initiative helped demonstrate the value of ERGs in supporting team member connection and well-being and has helped pave the way for additional ERG initiatives at Springpoint.
A Comprehensive Approach to Wellness
Springpoint’s wellness program is built around a structured, accessible approach that encourages team members to take an active role in their well-being. Key elements of the program include:
- Well-Being Strategy and Design: A dedicated wellness strategy, measurable goals, and ongoing investment help guide the development and delivery of meaningful wellness initiatives.
- Communication and Engagement: Wellness resources, benefits, and educational opportunities are shared through a variety of channels, including organizational announcements, digital monitors, social media, internal training, onboarding, and open enrollment.
- Programs and Policies: Team members have access to resources that support physical, mental, social, and financial well-being, including preventive health screenings, mental health seminars, team-building activities, and financial education.
- Incentives and Participation: Wellness coaching, group challenges, educational seminars, biometric screenings, and preventive care initiatives encourage team members to take an active role in their health. Spouses are also included in wellness communications and select activities.
- Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Springpoint regularly assesses its wellness initiatives against established goals, using participation data, outcomes, and team member feedback to inform future programming and strengthen its impact.
Investing in Our Team Members
The Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award is one of several recognitions that reflect Springpoint’s commitment to creating a supportive and rewarding workplace. The organization’s broader investment in its workforce includes professional development opportunities, career advancement pathways, and programs designed to help team members succeed at every stage of their careers.
Through the Springpoint Foundation, team members also have access to programs that support professional growth and help remove barriers to career advancement. The Foundation supports Springpoint’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program, which is funded by the Grunin Foundation, providing team members with an opportunity to develop skills and pursue advancement within the field. The Foundation also supports English as a Second Language (ESL) programming, helping team members strengthen their English-language skills and build confidence in the workplace. The ESL program is currently offered at Stonebridge at Montgomery, with funding from Bloomberg, as well as The Atrium at Navesink Harbor and The Oaks at Denville, with funding from the Grunin Foundation.
Additional resources for team members include the Springpoint Strong Fund, which provides financial assistance to team members experiencing hardships, as well as employee referral rewards and other programs that support team member success.
Alongside its wellness initiatives, Springpoint continues to earn recognition for its commitment to creating a workplace where team members can grow, connect, and feel supported. Recent achievements include Great Place to Work certification, Certified Age Friendly Employer certification, the Great Employee Benefits Award from Mployer, SHRM’s Employee Abilities at Work certification, Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Aging Services recognition, and the Excellence in Innovation Award from LeadingAge NJ & DE for Springpoint University, the organization’s internal leadership development program.
Receiving the Aetna Workplace Well-Being Award for a second consecutive year is an opportunity to celebrate the progress made while continuing to evolve. Springpoint remains focused on expanding access to wellness resources, strengthening leadership support, recognizing team member participation, and adapting programs to reflect the changing needs of its workforce.
