U.S. News & World Report Recognizes 5 Springpoint Communities as Best Nursing Homes for Short-Term Rehabilitation
Five Springpoint communities have been recognized as Best Nursing Homes for short-term rehabilitation for 2022-2023 by U.S. News & World Report. This report evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes on care, safety, infection rates, staffing, and health inspections, with only 16% of skilled nursing facilities nationwide earned the “Best Nursing Home” designation.
Among the elite to receive such high recognition are Springpoint Life Plan Communities The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, offering independent living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation; The Moorings at Lewes, offering independent living, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care; Stonebridge at Montgomery, offering independent living, skilled nursing, assisted living, rehabilitation, and memory care; Winchester Gardens, offering independent living, assisted living, rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care; as well as Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, a Springpoint senior care community offering rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care).
There are currently 353 nursing homes throughout the state of New Jersey, and these Springpoint communities are among a distinguished group to receive such a high overall rating. They each received a High-Performance rating in short-term rehabilitation, which is based on U.S. News’ assessment of ten quality measures focused on staffing, medical outcomes, resident complaints, and processes of care. U.S. News used scientific literature review, discussions with industry experts, and statistical modeling to select these measures.
This independent survey of diverse healthcare programs throughout the country reaffirms the work excellence of the clinical staff and rehabilitation teams at these five Springpoint communities.
