Our Favorite Area Attractions
Jersey Shore: Perhaps the most iconic area attraction is the coastal region of the state of New Jersey. More than 90-miles of white-sand beaches are filled with lighthouses, roadside produce stands and plenty of space to lay your towel for a day of fun in the sun. Plus, just beyond the beaches, you can easily find delectable dining, numerous shopping opportunities, historical sites, amusement parks and more. Not sure where to go on the shore? We recommend the Atlantic City Boardwalk, a tourist hot spot since 1870.
Princeton University: Going strong since 1746, Princeton University is an incredible historical experience you won’t want to miss. Stunning architecture and pristine grounds cover the 500 acres of campus. Princeton University Tours highlight the storied past of the prestigious university that is the heart of the area. Or, spend time in the Princeton University Art Museum, one of the world’s greatest comprehensive museums in an academic setting.
Grounds for Sculpture: Grounds for Sculpture is a 42-acre sculpture park, museum and arboretum founded on the site of the former New Jersey State Fairgrounds. Here, you can find an exceptional collection of contemporary sculpture, outstanding programming for all ages and rotating exhibitions in six indoor galleries. This truly unique asset is always evolving and offers stunning pieces of art for you to enjoy.
Two River Theater: Right next door to Springpoint community The Atrium at Navesink Harbor, you’ll find a venue recognized in the national theater community for its new-play commissioning program. Two River Theater always has something going on, producing six or more theatrical productions a year and dozens of events that reflect the diversity of the Red Bank community.
Cape Henlopen State Park: Both beaches and parks at Cape Henlopen in Delaware offer numerous opportunities for visitors to enjoy the great outdoors. Beaches attract thousands of visitors who enjoy everything from ocean swimming, boating, fishing and kayaking to clamming, paddle-boarding and windsurfing, and the park’s premiere trails offer hiking and biking exploration. Stop by the Fort Miles Museum and Historical Area to learn more about the Lewes area during World War II or visit the Seaside Nature Center to look through viewing windows that allow visitors to see stingrays, horseshoe crabs and other species in the tank while they’re underwater.
