Gary Lessing Joins Springpoint Living at Manalapan as Director of Food Services
November 8, 2021 – Springpoint Living at Manalapan, the new Springpoint assisted living and memory care community, is pleased to welcome Gary Lessing, as Director of Food Services, effective October 18, 2021.
In this new role, Mr. Lessing will oversee the dining services team to provide a variety of dining selections that promote healthy living for seniors including a Mediterranean- style menu with heart healthy meals, plant based options, and other special dietary accommodations.
With over 15 years of experience in culinary, hospitality and healthcare sectors, he has a proven track record implementing high-quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and staff engagement. He’s known for cooking with seasonal ingredients, infusing foods with fresh herbs, making soups with homemade stock and delighting residents with a culturally diverse menu.
Lessing attended Paul Smiths College and studied hospitality management and culinary arts. He joins Springpoint Living at Manalapan after recently directing Culinary Services at Care One in Hamilton and East Brunswick, and The Clare Estate in Bordentown, New Jersey.
Opening in late 2021, Springpoint Living at Manalapan will have 60 assisted living apartments and memory care residences and provide person-centered care and engaging programs for residents.
