Annette Murphy of Springpoint at Home Elected to the National Board of Directors of the Aging Life Care Association
Springpoint is proud to announce that Annette Murphy, CDP, MSW, LSW, C-ASWCM, Director of Home Care and Care Management at Springpoint at Home, has been elected to the National Board of Directors of the Aging Life Care Association® (ALCA). She will begin serving her two-year term on January 1, 2023.

I know we will make impactful decisions and positive changes for our organization,” Murphy said.
The mission of this nonprofit association is to promote and lead the community of Aging Life Care Professionals® through its unique knowledge base, continuing education, professional development, and the highest ethical practices. ALCA is governed by an 11-member Board of Directors who are elected to two-year terms and represent a diversity in practices and geographic locations.
Aging Life Care™ management is a holistic, client-centered approach to caring for older adults or others facing ongoing health challenges. Prior to her election to the National Board, Murphy previously served two years on the New Jersey State Board followed by two (2), two-year terms as Co-President.
Murphy, a certified dementia practitioner, has over 20 years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings. Prior to her current role, she worked as a geriatric care manager and supervisor for Springpoint at Home. She has worked as a director of social work in a long-term care setting in acute rehabilitation and brain injury rehabilitation, as a support group leader for stroke patients and caregivers, in the activities department with dementia clients, and as an adjunct professor at The College of New Jersey. She is a licensed clinical social worker, a certified advanced case manager, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. She is also a member of the Springpoint Senior Living Ethics Committee.
Murphy holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Family Studies and Gerontology from Messiah College.
