Excellence in Care: Springpoint Communities Named “Best Nursing Homes” for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report

Eight Springpoint communities have been recognized as “Best Nursing Homes” for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report. This year’s evaluation reviewed nearly 15,000 nursing homes nationwide, with fewer than 19% earning a “Best Nursing Home” designation in Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or both.

High-Performing Springpoint Communities

Among New Jersey’s 348 and Delaware’s 44 nursing homes and skilled nursing/long-term care facilities, the following Springpoint communities stood out for their high-performance ratings:

The Atrium at Navesink Harbor — Offering independent living, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing; rated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with an overall score of 5/5.

Crestwood Manor — Offering independent living, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing; rated High Performing in short-term rehabilitation, with an overall score of 4/5.

Meadow Lakes — Offering independent living, assisted living, home care, memory care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and respite; rated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with a score of 5/5.

The Moorings at Lewes — Offering independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing; rated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with a score of 5/5.

The Oaks at Denville — Offering independent living, assisted living, home care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing; rated High Performing in long-term care, with a score of 4/5.

Stonebridge at Montgomery — Offering independent living, assisted living, home care, memory care, rehabilitation, and skilled nursing; rated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with a score of 5/5.

Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare — Offering long-term care, memory care, rehabilitation, and respite; rated High Performing in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with an overall score of 5/5.

Winchester Gardens — Offering independent living, assisted living, home care, memory care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and respite; rated High Performing in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care, with a score of 5/5.

Going Above and Beyond in Service and Care

U.S. News & World Report determined these ratings by analyzing a wide range of quality measures, including post-acute care quality, nurse staffing consistency, and patient-centered outcomes. Compared to the national average, the 2026 ranked communities:

  • Provide 20% more total staffing per resident per day
  • Offer 80% more physical therapy per resident per day
  • Have a 15% lower rate of hospitalizations for long-term residents
  • Have a 33% lower rate of emergency room visits for rehab patients
