Anthony A. Argondizza
As President and Chief Executive Officer of New Jersey’s largest nonprofit senior housing organization, Mr. Argondizza oversees 29 communities that serve nearly 4,500 residents and employ over 1,600 people.
Navigating the company along its growth path, Mr. Argondizza pursues business development opportunities and oversees the company’s entire portfolio of senior housing and service brands under Springpoint. This also includes Springpoint at Home, providing homecare and care management services, and Springpoint Choice, a membership program offering security of long-term care planning. He oversees all operations and works to establish and attain the company’s policies, goals, and objectives. Together with other senior executives, he sets strategy and direction for the company.
Mr. Argondizza joined Springpoint in 1994 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility, including executive vice president and chief operating officer, before being appointed to president in 2016 and CEO in 2017.
David Woodward
Chief Operating OfficerMr. Woodward is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Springpoint and its affiliated communities. Since joining Springpoint in 2008, Mr. Woodward has been very successful assuming expanded roles and responsibilities as Springpoint executed its leadership transition plan while also experiencing significant growth and expansion of product offerings in and out of the state of New Jersey.
Mr. Woodward holds a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality administration, a Master of Jurisprudence with a concentration in healthcare law and regulatory compliance from Widener University’s Delaware Law School, and is a veteran of the United States Army.
Garrett Midgett III
Chief Financial OfficerMr. Midgett’s responsibilities include oversight of financial reporting and policies, investments, and strategic planning. He’s also charged with implementing financial policy as approved by the Springpoint Board of Trustees and required by governmental agencies and regulators.
Mr. Midgett joined Springpoint in 1994 as controller for one of Springpoint’s affiliated communities and after a series of promotions was named to his current position in 2008. Prior to joining Springpoint, Mr. Midgett worked for a Manhattan CPA and consulting firm specializing in health care.
Maureen E. Cafferty
General CounselMs. Cafferty is responsible for analysis of legal and policy issues within the organization relating to development, financing, acquisitions, material contract negotiations, employment law, and healthcare regulatory matters. In her role, she manages the compliance program and the organization’s relationships with outside law firms. She also provides advice to the Board of Trustees on legal matters pertinent to the organization.
Prior to joining Springpoint in 1999, Ms. Cafferty was a corporate lawyer at Dechert LLP. She graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law (visited at University of Pennsylvania Law School, third year) and graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University, College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Shannon Grieb
Vice President of SalesMs. Grieb is responsible for the sales and occupancy-building initiatives for Springpoint communities and affiliates. Her responsibilities also include attaining community occupancy goals and implementing effective systems to maximize revenue development.
Ms. Grieb has more than 25 years of experience selling and marketing Life Plan Communities. She previously held positions at the Philadelphia Protestant Home and Meadowood Senior Living. She also previously held sales and marketing positions for Springpoint at the Meadow Lakes and Monroe Village Life Plan Communities.
She is a graduate of Rider University with a bachelor’s degree in business.
Sandi Ko
Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance OfficerMs. Ko oversees the human resources and compliance operations for all Springpoint Life Plan Communities and affiliates. Her responsibilities include planning, directing, and coordinating the human resources and compliance functions to support Springpoint’s workforce and regulatory requirements.
Ms. Ko began her career with Springpoint in 2014 as the Director of Corporate Compliance and Diversity & Inclusion. Ms. Ko also implemented and now manages Springpoint’s Social Accountability Program. Prior to joining Springpoint, she served as the Senior Regional Director of Human Resources, Assistant Executive Director, and Benefits Manager at a multi-site provider of Life Plan Communities. She is a graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration
Marybeth Kopec
Vice President of FinanceMs. Kopec oversees the finances for all Springpoint communities and affiliates. Her responsibilities include managing an expanding finance department and navigating the dynamic regulations of the healthcare industry. Ms. Kopec began her career with Springpoint in 1994 and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2006. In addition to her work at Springpoint, she serves as Co-Chair of the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County Operating Board.
Ms. Kopec holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a New Jersey Certified Public Accountant.
John Martin
Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information OfficerMr. Martin is responsible for all aspects of Springpoint’s technology, focusing on its platforms, operational effectiveness, and long-term strategy to enhance innovations with leading-edge industry applications. He has over 15 years of executive experience in Information Technology, most recently serving as Chief Information Officer for Recovery Centers of America.
Mr. Martin received his Bachelor of Science in Computer & Information Sciences at Temple University and his MBA, Concentration in IT Management, at Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.
Michael Oakes
Chief Philanthropy Officer, Springpoint FoundationMr. Oakes is responsible for Foundation board development as well as directing fundraising and philanthropic-related activities. These include major gift prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, as well as capital campaign development.
The mission of the Springpoint Foundation is to inspire generosity in support of programs that make a difference in people’s lives as they age and enrich the communities where they live, which is realized through the support of benevolent care, spiritual care, volunteer opportunities, educational programs, and student internships and the arts.
Mr. Oakes comes to Springpoint Foundation from Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations, where he was Executive Director of the Ocean Medical Center Foundation. Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Oakes was Chief Operating Office/ Vice President for Development at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.
Odessa Sadsad
Vice President of Health ServicesMs. Sadsad oversees healthcare services at all Springpoint communities and Springpoint at Home. Her responsibilities include clinical services, regulatory compliance, and quality improvements.
Ms. Sadsad began her career with Springpoint in 2009 at the Crestwood Manor Life Plan Community as a Nursing Unit Manager and became the Director of Nursing in 2013. She was then promoted to Regional Nurse Consultant in 2017. Ms. Sadsad received her RN, BSN from Western Mindanao State University in the Philippines. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and holds an Infection Preventionist Certification. She is currently in the process of obtaining a Master of Healthcare Administration from Walden University.
James Tavormina
Vice President of OperationsMr. Tavormina oversees and facilitates the successful overall operation of Springpoint’s Life Plan Communities, Assisted Living Communities, and Skilled Nursing facilities. His responsibilities include implementing and evaluating the short- and long-term strategic plans for the direction of the communities and facilities, consistent with Springpoint’s mission.
In his previous role, Mr. Tavormina was the Vice President of Sales. He was responsible for attaining community occupancy goals and implementing effective systems to maximize revenue development.
Before joining Springpoint in 2019, he held positions at Benchmark Senior Living and Brookdale Senior Living. Mr. Tavormina is a Seton Hall University graduate.
