Anthony A. Argondizza
President and Chief Executive Officer
As president and chief executive officer of New Jersey’s largest nonprofit senior housing organization, Mr. Argondizza oversees 28 communities that serve nearly 4,000 residents and employ over 2,000 people.
Navigating the company along its growth path, Mr. Argondizza pursues business development opportunities and oversees the company’s entire portfolio of senior housing and service brands under Springpoint Senior Living. He oversees all operations and works to establish and attain the company’s policies, goals and objectives. Together with other senior executives, he sets strategy and direction for the company.
Mr. Argondizza joined Springpoint in 1994 and has served in roles of increasing responsibility, including executive vice president and chief operating officer before being appointed to president in 2016 and CEO in 2017.
Garrett Midgett III
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Midgett’s responsibilities include oversight of financial reporting and policies, investments and strategic planning. He is also charged with implementing financial policy as approved by the Springpoint board and required by governmental agencies and regulators. Mr. Midgett joined Springpoint in 1994 as controller for one of Springpoint’s affiliated communities and after a series of promotions was named to his current position in 2008. Earlier, Mr. Midgett worked for a Manhattan CPA and consulting firm specializing in healthcare.
Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Woodward is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Springpoint Senior Living and its affiliated communities. Joining Springpoint in 2008, he has been very successful assuming expanded roles and responsibilities as Springpoint executed its leadership transition plan while experiencing significant growth and expansion of product offerings in and out of the state of New Jersey.
Mr. Woodward holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration, a Masters of Jurisprudence with a concentration in Healthcare Law and Regulatory Compliance from Widener University’s Delaware Law School and is a Veteran of the United States Army.
Maureen E. Cafferty
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
Ms. Cafferty is responsible for analysis of legal and policy issues within the organization relating to development, financings, acquisitions, material contract negotiations, employment law and healthcare regulatory matters. In her role, she manages the compliance program and the organization’s relationships with outside law firms. She also provides advice to the Board on legal matters pertinent to the organization.
Ms. Cafferty joined Springpoint in 1999. Prior to joining Springpoint, Ms. Cafferty was a corporate lawyer at Dechert LLP. She graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Law (visited at University of Pennsylvania Law School 3rd year) and graduated cum laude from Seton Hall University, College of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer
Ms. Rose oversees healthcare services at Springpoint’s continuing care retirement and assisted living communities. Her responsibilities include clinical services, regulatory compliance and quality improvements.
Ms. Rose is an advanced practice nurse specializing in geriatrics. She is also a licensed nursing home administrator. Ms. Rose joined Springpoint in 2000 and was named to her current position in 2011. That same year, Ms. Rose was named LeadingAge New Jersey’s Professional of the Year.
Senior Vice President, Springpoint Senior Living Foundation
Mr. Oakes is responsible for Foundation board development as well as directing fundraising and philanthropic-related activities. These include major gift prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, as well as capital campaign development. The mission of the Foundation is to inspire generosity in support of programs that make a difference in people’s lives as they age and enrich the communities where they live, which is realized through the support of benevolent care, spiritual care, volunteer opportunities, educational programs and student internships and the arts.
Mr. Oakes comes to Springpoint Foundation from Meridian Health Affiliated Foundations, where he was Executive Director of the Ocean Medical Center Foundation. Prior to joining Meridian, Mr. Oakes was Chief Operating Office/VP for Development at the Make-A-Wish Foundation for New Jersey.
John A. Harz
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
As Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Harz is responsible for the development and execution of human resource strategy in support of Springpoint’s overall business plans. His expertise is specifically in the areas of employee engagement, talent and leadership development, succession planning, recruitment and retention, performance management, staff education, training and development and labor relations.
Joining Springpoint in 2018, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Monmouth University.
David B. Wean
Senior Vice President of Operations and Facilities
Mr. Wean is the Senior Vice President of Operations and Facilities for Springpoint Senior Living. He has worked in the field of senior living for over 30 years, providing outstanding leadership to Springpoint in various capacities including Executive Director at Crestwood Manor, Interim Executive Director at Stonebridge at Montgomery, Interim Executive Director at The Atrium of Navesink Harbor, Senior Executive Director and, most recently, Vice President of Facilities and Asset Management.
He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree from McDaniel College in Maryland. A resident of Marlton, NJ, Mr. Wean is a licensed assisted living administrator.
